Ogbono soup is a Nigeria popular soup thickened with ground Ogbono seeds and other authentic Nigerian spices and vegetables. Meats are mostly included and typical meats included in the soup are beef, goat, fish, chicken, or shrimp. It is one of the most popular soups prepared by most tribes in Nigeria. Ogbono soup has a slimy texture, similar to okra soup.  It is usually eaten with pounded yam, fufu, rice flour, or garri.
